SprintAI, a leading artificial intelligence platform focused on maximizing athlete performance, is expanding the spectrum of its platform by adding Dr. Vernon Williams to its advisory team. Dr. Williams is one of the most respected neurologists in the world of sports, working with elite athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA and other top leagues to improve their cognitive performance.

SprintAI's athlete performance platform takes all the data available from an athlete’s training program, testing results and from a fast-growing ecosystem of sensors and wearable technologies that monitor individual activity levels, sleep, and many other variables to give them and their coaches a holistic, real-time view of the athlete’s status. By analyzing this data using proprietary artificial intelligence algorithms, athletes and coaches at all levels can identify new areas for improvement and optimize their training and performance.

“Dr. Williams is a critical and welcomed addition to our advisory team,” SprintAI Founder & CEO Juha Tiihonen said.“His passion for helping athletes reach new heights through neurological and cognitive training methods is a critical element in our goal of delivering the most holistic understanding of athletic performance ever built.”

He serves as the Team Neurologist for the Los Angeles Rams and neurological medical consultant to local professional sports organizations, such as the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Kings, and Los Angeles Sparks.

Dr. Williams is also a three-term appointee to the California State Athletic Commission (currently serving as Vice-Chair) and former two-term Chair of the American Academy of Neurology Sports Neurology Section. He has received numerous public accolades and is a frequent medical expert and contributor to mainstream media publications and news outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, Sports Illustrated, ESPN News, Huffington Post, as well as local and national television news outlets including Ivanhoe National Broadcast News, CBS, NBC, and ABC television affiliates.

“SprintAI’s mission of maximizing athlete potential impressed me from the first time we met,” Dr. Williams said.“The team’s dedication to building the most complete athlete picture possible is something I immediately wanted to participate in, and I am excited to bring my expertise in sports neurology and cognitive performance to the team.”

Dr. Williams will begin using SprintAI in his practice with elite athlete clients during the first half of this year.
